PROMISE: The Future's Bigger Picture Of R &B||@ichymerh_

George promise chymerh(@ichymerh) popularly known as “Promise”  is  19 years old boy who discovered his talent for music at the age of 9 in which he didn’t pay full  attention to it  until 3years later where he joined a band of 4 boys. The Band was Nick-named “windmill” and they later broke up in 2014 where every member of the band had to go their separate ways due to wind that blew them to different corners of life but Promise believes the band could come back to together to make some good music .

Promise started taking  music so serious when he clocked age 16,when he discovered music was one of  his favourite  hobbies and what he loves doing without stress . He looks up to Tori Kelly, Demi lovato,  Ariana Grande, James Arthur ,Zayn Malik,  Khalid, Alessia  Cara, Jason derulo, dan+Shay and so many others because they have highly influenced him musically . According to him in 2years time he sees himself in school, studying so hard and making more good music

He could be considered as the bigger picture of R&B because he and many of us in Nigeria believes that there’s alot to music than alot of us sees and understands. Lyrics, Vocals, instrumentation, the message, passion and attitude, flexibility and all that. That’s what he  sees  music as. He  sees  it as a beautiful life on it’s own.

Also, he has a soothing range when it comes to vocals, he writes his songs metaphorically, he  endeavour to write things that are relatable, he tries  to deliver the message and connect his soul to whatever he sings  and he hopes  to change and make the world a better place with his music.
