Ogundipe Ayotunde John also known asJapp is a Nigerian singer and a songwriter, he was raised by his grand parents in Aremo Ode Aje where he started his music career almost 19 years.

Japp became a street sensation artiste sometimes in 2003 after ministering at the RCCG youth program at the cooperative building, Ajibola Ibadan. He later formed a group and had his first EP in 2005.

The hope on the EP was high, the CD’s but nothing came out from it. in the same 2005, Japp proceeded with his academic pursuit at prestigious Tai Solar in University of Education where he bagged a degree in business education.

During his studies, Japp met with Adelaja Samuel also known as @Champagne_Beatz. Meeting the acr producer gave birth to several movement, among them is CBMG and StreetlyGospel.

In 2017, Japp released an EP titled “StreetlyGospel” and subsequently made and distribute 1000 copies of the CD physically with his brother @MideMrPossible.

The concept of “StreetlyGospel” was coined by Japp and MideMrPossible, his brother. The concept is doing gospel music in an extremely contemporary style without breaking any law or norm. The duo sees the need to take gospel music to another height. Gospel music are not meant to be bored or full of repetition just because they are gospel songs, is it?

Today, our churches featured beats from secular songs, dance steps from secular song even right inside the church hence “StreetlyGospel” tends to take gospel music to the core street where things happens. “StreetlyGospel” is beyond music, its a concept and a movement.

Japp is all  set to release his most anticipated  debut video, “Everywhere” on the 3rd of May and he promises to be great!
